To get an up-close view of what being a registered nurse is like, the researcher conducted two studies. First is a survey in google forms via gmail for her respondents that is too busy to have an interview for this research. Second is a one-on-one interview with 2 registered nurses.

THE SURVEY

For the survey, the researcher asked the following questions:

• What’s it like being a registered nurse?

• On scale of 1-10 how how happy are you in our job?

• How many hours do you usually spends in your work for a day?                                                      a.4-7 hours   b. 8-10 hours    c. 11-14 hours d. 15-18 hours   e. Others

• What is your monthly income as a registered nurse?                                                          a. 10,000-15,000    b. 16,000-20,000     c. 21,000-25,000 d.   Others

• What are the challenges you encountered when you was still a nursing student?

• What are the major subjects in nursing?

• What are the skills and talents that is required for this profession?

• How do you overcome the emotional challenge of someone dying during your duty hours?

• What are the challenges you usually encounters when working?

• What is the most fun part in being a registered nurse?
